Coño where do i start,..lol.. It was our First time coming to Konoz! My husband birthday is Monday so i wanted to treat him by taking him out to eat, he wanted to try out this Puerto Rican restaurant. We decided to come today with family and I will tell you it's a 10 out of 10 🌟 As soon we entered the restaurant the staffs greeted us with smiles and Don Alex the owner he was there to greet us as well and took us to our table, and me personally I felt like if I was home!!..😁 They had good music eveything from PR and aguadilla tag 😊 I felt like i was in PR for a moment. The place is clean and very spacious. We ordered some Appetizers like bacalaitos, relleno de papa, alcapurrias de guineo y Yuca, I ordered some pinchos de pollo con camarones with bbq " boy was that 🔥 empanadillas de cheesesteak and you cant miss a " Happy Parcha drink 😋😋😋 Alex made us feel super comfortable, he interacted with the whole family & my girls loved the place & my oldest daughter even danced with Alex lol.. First, I need to say this place is definitely 10/10. Great Food, Great Service and definitely a home away from home. Usually for my bday celebration dinner, we sometimes go to the same places but today I wanted some delicious,authentic, 100% Boriqua/Puertorican food. I am so happy we came to this place. Once walking through the door, I felt 100% PR vibes. From the music playing to the old school hats on the walls and the hospitality. With all that the topping on the cake was the owner Alex. He was great and beyond what words can describe.. simply amazing with how he was so attentive,caring,a jokester and made us feel like family. He got to know us and treated us great and with open arms and great suggestions. He interacted with everyone and he even danced with my daughter. He had me try a T-Bone a different way cooked and promised me that I will love it and will have more for tomorrow. With that being said he did not lie. I usually like my steak cooked Medium Well and most times its not cooked that way or its left too bloody and he told me he got me. I immediately sent my friends the pictures below, excited to have followed up on a recommendation about a PR restaurant. My friend had the Trifongo ( Yuca, Platano, y maduro), served in the typical way. Mine was the mofongo con pernil served in the cone. El platano had a creaminess and the pernil was perfection, seasoning was on point, tender, moist with flavor. Not in the photos but I was happy to have salad green ( romaine, mixed greens) options that I really enjoy. Konoz is definitely on the to do list for those who visit me. I believe in sharing good food.

Stopped by this Puerto Rican restaurant in Newark and was seriously impressed. I started with a coffee and a pionono, and both were excellent. For my main course, I had the pernil with white rice and tostones. The pork was tender and full of flavor, the rice was cooked perfectly, and the tostones were crispy and delicious. The portions were generous, the food tasted homemade, and everything came out fresh. Great service, authentic Puerto Rican flavors, and definitely worth the visit. I'll be coming back the next time I'm in Newark!

I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant! My friends and I recently came from a trip to Puerto Rico which was my first time visiting. The food at Konoz was delicious and authentic. The portions were great too! We had a few drinks like passion fruit, tamarind and coffee was so tasty. I highly recommend this establishment, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the dishes and helped with our questions.
